Privacy statement
Salire is a career agent. To do its job it has to know a lot about you — your work history, your writing, where you want to work. This page says plainly what we collect, what we do with it, which third parties touch it, and how you get rid of it. If anything here is unclear, write to privacy@salire.ai.
What we collect
What you give us
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google or Microsoft sign-in. We never see your password.
- Documents: résumés, LinkedIn PDF exports, cover letters, writing samples and anything else you upload. We store the original file and the text we extract from it.
- Profile: the structured profile built from those documents — experience, skills, education, location, links — plus any corrections and additions you make.
- Preferences and goals: target roles, locations, sectors, companies you name, salary floor, sponsorship needs, and what you tell the agent about where you want to be.
- Links you share: your blog, home page, GitHub, papers, social profiles. We fetch and store the public content at those URLs so drafts can be grounded in your real work and expertise.
- Additional email addresses you add, each confirmed by a link we send.
- Conversations with your agent, and the drafts, plans and notes it produces with you.
- Publishing credentials (for example a Dev.to API key) if you connect a channel. These are encrypted at rest with a key that is not stored alongside them.
What Salire generates
- A knowledge graph of companies, roles, people, and the relationships between them, each entry recording where it was found and why it matters to you.
- Vector embeddings of your profile, documents and graph, used for matching and search.
- A Presence Score computed from the public links you provide.
- Application records — which roles you saved, applied to, and the materials tailored for each.
- Run traces: a log of what the agent did on your behalf, including which model was called and what it cost, so you can audit it.
What we don’t collect
- We do not read, log into, or automate your LinkedIn account. Where Salire shows LinkedIn profile links, they come from a third-party public index, not from your session.
- We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
How we use it
Only to run the product for you: build and maintain your profile, find and score roles, find people and explain why they matter, prepare first drafts for you to edit, keep your plan and tracker current, and send the emails you ask for (such as address confirmations). We do not use your data to train AI models, and our processors are contractually prohibited from doing so with the data we send them.
Who processes it
Salire is built on a small number of infrastructure and AI providers. Which of these are active depends on how your deployment is configured; the ones marked optional are off unless enabled.

Your data is stored in a Postgres database operated for this deployment. We use session cookies (a signed token) to keep you logged in and a little browser storage for interface preferences; nothing else is set in your browser.
The Chrome extension
Salire Autofill runs only on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby application pages and on the Salire app itself. It reads your profile and tailored materials from your existing Salire session, fills the form, outlines every field it touched, and stops. It never submits an application, and it sends nothing to anyone but the Salire deployment you configured.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. “Start over” in the account menu deletes your account and every record that belongs to you — profile, documents, graph, drafts, conversations, applications, preferences, additional emails — in a single transaction. The public corpora of companies and job postings, which contain nothing about you, are unaffected. Backups roll off on their own schedule.
You can also remove individual documents, links and emails at any time from the Documents, Links and Profile pages.
Your rights
You can see everything Salire holds about you from within the app, correct it, export your documents, and delete it all yourself without asking us. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights (access, portability, restriction, objection) and need help exercising them, email privacy@salire.ai.
Children
Salire is for people managing a career and is not directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
When this statement changes we update the date at the top and, for anything material, tell you in the app. Continued use after that is acceptance of the new version.
