Terms of service

Last updated September 16, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Salire (“we”, “us”) for use of the Salire application, its Chrome extension, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use the Service.

1. What Salire is

Salire is a software agent that helps you manage your career: it builds a profile from documents you provide, finds roles and companies, identifies people you might contact, drafts written material, and helps you prepare and fill job applications. It is a tool that prepares and suggests; you decide what to send, post, apply to, or say. Salire does not submit applications, publish content, or contact anyone on your behalf without an explicit action from you.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for keeping that account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract where you live.
  • One account is for one person. Don’t share it or use the Service on someone else’s behalf without their permission.

3. Your content

Everything you upload or write — résumés, documents, links, preferences, conversations — remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display it in order to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers listed in the privacy statement. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Don’t provide documents that contain other people’s confidential information.

4. Generated material

Drafts, tailored résumés, cover letters, answers, plans and summaries produced for you are yours to use. They are generated by AI models and can be wrong — a date, a claim, a company detail. Read everything before you rely on it or send it. Salire marks generated text as drafted for this reason. You are the author of anything you submit, and it is your responsibility that it is truthful.

5. Information about third parties

Salire surfaces information about companies and people from public sources and tells you where each item came from. It is provided to help you research and reach out respectfully. You agree to:

  • use it only for your own, legitimate career purposes — not for bulk outreach, recruiting databases, marketing lists, or resale;
  • contact people in a way that respects their stated preferences and applicable law;
  • not attempt to extract, scrape, or export the people or company data at scale.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to misrepresent your qualifications, impersonate anyone, harass anyone, send spam, circumvent an employer’s application process, probe or overload our systems, or violate the terms of the job boards and sites you apply through. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. The Chrome extension

Salire Autofill fills application forms on supported job boards using your Salire profile. It outlines every field it touches and never presses submit. You are responsible for reviewing each field and for the application you submit. The extension is provided in developer-mode distribution until listed on the Chrome Web Store, and may change or stop working when the sites it supports change.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on providers we do not control — sign-in, AI models, search indexes, email delivery, job boards. Their availability affects ours. Some features (people sourcing, LinkedIn profile import) depend on optional providers that may be disabled or become unavailable; where a feature is off, the Service says so rather than pretending.

9. Fees

The Service is currently provided without charge. If we introduce paid plans we will say so clearly in advance, and nothing you have already created will be held hostage to a payment.

10. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time with “Start over” in the account menu; that removes your data as described in the privacy statement. We may suspend or end your access for breach of these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. We don’t promise that it will find you a job, that any match, score, person or draft is accurate or complete, or that it will be available without interruption. Career decisions are yours; Salire is a tool that informs them.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost opportunities, income, or reputation — arising from your use of the Service or of material it generated. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months or one hundred US dollars.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
